I'm an amateur movie maker who uses a PC, something that may sound unlikely but actually is quite possible due to a number of good video programs for PCs, one of which is PowerDirector 6. The previous version of this program ran slow. REALLY slow. But in this newest version everything now moves much quicker; I was able to chop a movie in just about 10 minutes, a personal record. PowerVideo also has some nifty features, including: -Being able to have 7 effects in one clip -Having a direct interface with YouTube that allows for easy upload of your videos -PowerVideo also has worked well with my iPod video. There are some limitation to the program though. You can only have one Magic Clean effect per clip, which is very limiting when it comes to wanting to actually change what you filmed, instead of just adding  to it. You can also only have 4 video tracks going, which again limits your capabilities. All in all, if you want an editing program that lets you make fun, cute movies, PowerDirector 6 is for you.
