News Notifications takes advantage of Mountain Lion's brand new Notification Center to keep you on top of the news!

Add RSS feeds of your favorite websites to News Notifications. As soon as there's a new post, article or blog, you'll get a subtle notification at the top of your screen. Past notifications will be shown in Notification Center for your convenience.

We've made it incredibly easy to add feeds. Just enter the address of a website and we'll find its RSS feed for you immediately.

Set up the number of stories you want to see from each feed, decide if you want an article summary to appear and finally select the refresh time. That's it!

News Notifications is a Mountain Lion exclusive.

What's New
  • Addresses a severe issue where some RSS feeds would cause News Notifications to stop refreshing all feeds completely.
  • Addresses an issue that could cause previously displayed notifications to appear again.
  • Notifications that were clicked on by the user are now removed from Notification Center.
