DepthShift allows you to simulate the miniaturization effect created by a Tilt and Shift lens by performing depth of field effects. DepthShift's inspector panel allows you to achieve full control over the exact look by providing a rich set of controls.
The top half of the inspector panel provides slider controls to allow you to control the vertical and horizontal location of the depth of field focus. The numerical fields alongside each slider represent the pixel location the slider is currently set to. The sliders are automatically recalibrated each time you open a new image, so that they are scaled for that image. To ease setting the focus band, the vertical sliders can be connected by keeping the check box between them turned on. This has the effect of keeping them in step.
The bottom half of the inspector panel provides slider controls to allow you to control the look of the focused and unfocused parts of your image. The blur slider allows you adjust the blur setting of the unfocused part of the image.
Setting the Color Saturation slider to 0 causes the focused part of the image to be black and white and unfocused part to remain in color. Or you can use it to hugely increase the color level of the focused part compared to the unfocused part, to give part of your image a very cool highlighted appearance.
Corrected the window closure handling so that if changes have been made to an image the user has the chance to save them before the window closes.
Implements Apple's sandbox data protection mechanism.
